Workshop Introduction

Why should you attend OuttaBox Tester Workshop?


The purpose of this workshop is to train experienced testers into more viable and thinking testers. To put them into a lead position at their workplace and create a niche for them as one plus of their development counterparts.


That’s why!


We follow the practices and principles of Context Driven Testing, which addresses the same challenges a tester faces, and then guide them with proper techniques, resources, and principles to test software and products.


When: 2nd and 3rd May, 2015 (Saturday and Sunday)

Where: MCL – 2 (Lab), First floor, Aman CED Building, IBA, Main Campus (Inside Karachi University)


Day 1 is all about being that tester and how testing is done;

– Concept Cleansing

– Your Identity as a tester

– Documentation and Reporting

– Bug hunting


Day 2 will be all about becoming all in one guru of testing. So, if you are a team lead, or an enthusiastic professional, this day will bring about the best in you as the Test strategist, an effective team member, a test manager and above all an Exploratory Tester!

– Team and Conflict Management

– Heuristics Test Strategy Model

– Exploratory Testing

– The Test Project:

— Application of Test Coverage on the Test Project

— Defining Quality Criteria on the project

— Determining the Test Automation strategy and Script writing / Framework Construction
