Test Automation {in a nutshell}

This session introduces the concept of software test automation and will explain most commonly known terms associated with it. It is for those who have an interest in knowing or about to introduce test automation in their organizations. It will help them in making decisions whether to go for automation or not and also about the benefits and risks associated with it.



There are no pre-requisites for this session. Although testing background will be an added bonus.

Mohammad Saad

Test Automation Lead at eDev Tech.

Mohammad Saad has more than 7 years of experience in the field of Software Development and Testing. He has worked in various roles including Software Development Lead, Pre-Sales Consultant, Business Analyst, Test Automation Lead and a Trainer.
He holds a BS (CS) degree from University of Karachi and an MBA from Institute of Business Management. Currently he is working as a Test Automation Lead in eDev Tech where he is managing a centralized test automation department and responsible to automate the testing of all products in the company.
During his tenure there, He has successfully automated 5 products which results in greater ROI and utmost confidence in the quality of products.
These products include an ERP (which is used by Canadian Government), 2 Microsoft Office Add ins, A Web Application for Requirements Management and their flagship Product inteGREAT which is also a Requirements Management tool. All these products are used by International Clients such as Microsoft, 3M, Siemens and McKesson to name a few.
Saad is also very active on different Quality Assurance and Test Automation Forums such as LinkedIn Groups and Stackoverflow.com. He has also founded a blog binaryclips.com for test automation enthusiasts where he shares his experiences. He has also published a series of test automation articles on SoftwareTestingHelp.com.
